Annie Jelavic is the General Counsel Continental Europe at The Kraft Heinz Company, a globally trusted producer of delicious foods with a strong portfolio of more than 200 powerful and iconic brands (such as Heinz, Kraft, Honig, De Ruijter, Plasmon, and Orlando, to mention a few) and counting over 38.000 employees worldwide.

Annie continuously works to be a role model and a moral, ethical, and regulatory compass for the organization and its people. She leads with honesty and integrity, always ensuring Kraft Heinz does the right thing for its employees, partners, and communities.

To be effective in her role means not only being a good attorney, but also someone who has an appropriate influence on the overall activities of the business, keeping in mind the responsibility the company has as a global citizen in contributing to building a healthier, more sustainable, and more inclusive world. And in the last years, a remarkable number of programs, initiatives, policies, and tools have been implemented as a step forward towards building an inclusive organization. One concrete example is the Female Mentor Program, in which Annie actively mentors several female talents, helping themprogress in their personal and professional development.

Annie has grown her business career in KellyDeli in France and the UK from a trainee to a Senior Legal Counsel overseeing 9+ markets in 5 years. Annie joined Kraft Heinz in 2019 as Head of Legal France and successively became Head of Legal Western Europe, Chief Counsel Growth International Zone, and in April 2022, General Counsel Continental Europe. 

She is French, Croatian, and Polish and grew up in France in a multicultural environment speaking the three languages equally. After two years studying in Australia and four years working in the UK, she now calls France her home base to be closer to her family, with whom she spends most of her free time.
