Katekani is the Global M&A Finance Lead of Philips, a Dutch Health Technology multinational conglomerate based in Amsterdam Netherlands. She is a highly accomplished senior finance professional with over 11 years of experience in leadership and specialist roles within multinational environments. Katekani has demonstrated expertise in managing finance matters across diverse industries such as Power and Water, Oil and Gas, Transportation, and Healthcare.

With a dynamic background spanning Africa, the United States, and Europe, Katekani possesses a unique global perspective and a proven track record of success. Her areas of specialization include financial leadership, international finance, strategic business partnering, financial planning and analysis (FP&A,) treasury management, as well as mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Her strategic insights and financial acumen have enabled her to optimize performance, drive revenue growth, and enhance profitability leveraging her strong leadership skills to foster collaboration, mentor talent, and build high-performing teams.

Katekani holds a BCom Accounting degree from the University of Johannesburg, a master’s degree in finance and Investments from Wits Business School and Disruptive Strategy certificate from Harvard Business School.
