Sarah Woodhouse
Sarah is a lawyer with two decades of international FMCG experience. Sarah has worked across different markets in Southeast Asia, Australia, Europe and the UK driving innovation and customer and consumer satisfaction.
Sarah currently serves as Deputy Company Secretary and Head of the Corporate Law team for Unilever PLC. Sarah is responsible as a legal advisor to the Board of Unilever and its Committees, responsible for the smooth running of Unilever PLC and its internal and external reporting requirements. Sarah reports to Unilever’s Chief Legal Officer, Maria Varsellona and is a member of Unilever’s Global Legal Leadership team whose responsibilities include legal risk identification, mitigation and management, the development of Unilever’s overall legal strategy and execution, legal talent development, the digitalisation of the legal function and related change management.
Over the last 12 months, Sarah has led significant change for Unilever, with the separation and sale of the global tea business, ekaterra for €4.5billion and as the chief legal advisor and core member of Unilever’s global Covid-19 issue management team chaired by Unilever CEO, Alan Jope.
